It’s thursday Creatives!
We are very exited to present in this weeks CREATIVE COLLABORATION the lovely Daphna Munz
Daphna is an Israel-born, raised in Manhattan, Berlin based Fashion Stylist, Costume Designer and Art Director. Due to the various stations and influences in her life, her styling is unique, bold and adventurous. She does not hesitate to combine layers, textures and colors which creates her one-of-a-kind aesthetics.
When working with Daphna, you can expect a whirlwind of creativity on set. She can decide on the spot as well as prepare a certain mood with various labels. Also, she always tries to include up and coming independent designers and creates a nice mixture of established brands with a new twist.
On top of that, Daphna has a knack for set design and creating surreal athmospheres not only in fashion editorials but also in music videos, imagefilms and so on. Therefore, we had the right partner with her for our Space Oddity shoot for KALTBLUT Magazine and can’t wait to present the fashion film we made with her soon.
Get in touch with her at email@example.com
It’s thursday Creatives!
On this sunny day we would like to introduce you to one of our new favorite creative soul in Berlin!
Hadas Hinkis is a very versatile and super creative artist from Tel Aviv based in Berlin. Her talents range from costume and set design, over video directing to photography. Her portfolio is full of the most interesting visual delights, all representing little art universes. In all aspects of her work she conveys messages of transformation and artful body representations.
When Daphna Munz, our stylist for the fashion editorial ‘Space Oddity’ forKALTBLUT Magazine brought some of her latex costumes, we thought it to be more than fitting into our #surrealforest. The see through latex blouse and trousers, which gave a slight reptile feel to the set, worked perfectly with the plastic waterfall. Also the peachy pink bodysuit and the skillfully draped white latex collar gave the right bowie feel.
Hadas Hinkis has worked on multiple band covers and videos with her various talents. You can find her beautiful creations and immerse into her world on her website: http://hadashinkis.com/Latex

Elise is a french, Berlin-based photographer who we had the pleasure of working with multiple times. Her work has been published in Dark Beauty Magazine, Superior Magazine, Papercut Magazine just to name a few. Furthermore, her pictures have been exhibited in single and group exhibitions in multiple galleries in Mannheim, Paris and Berlin at CAKE Studio – Berlin during Fashion Week in collaboration with Itzenga and surreflections.
The first shoot we had with Elise was at an abandoned glass factory. From then we cherished her incomparable style and her sense of aesthetic, especially how she captures people. During the different projects on which we worked together, we learned that Elise is not only an exceptional photographer, who is able to catch a very intense atmosphere in her pictures, but also a friend we don’t want to miss anymore. We look forward to many more collaborations with surreflections.
If you are looking for a photographer to catch your most precious moments in an artistic way, or to shoot your new fashion editorial etc. you can make an appointment with Elise Kammerer at her brand new studio: An der Industriebahn 12-16, 13088 Berlin.
We would like to introduce you to our new category CREATIVE COOPERATION. Here we want to introduce the talented people we have been working with.
For our ‘Artography’ series we had the pleasure of collaborating with the talented Theda Itzenga who stands behind the jewelry label Itzenga. After completing a traditional training as goldsmith, she studied jewelry and object design at the University of Applied Sciences & Arts HAWK Hildesheim, and also at THE MOME – Budapest. Her main work signature is to transform hand-made vintage moulded glass dishes from the 50ies and 60ies, using their structures and forms, and deform them into unique jewelry.
We first came in contact with her pieces through a mutual friend who was wearing a necklace she made and since we were just looking for interesting and local jewelry to present in a series using mixed media, photography and art we were happy that she was very open to our ideas and collaborated with surreflections.
At our first exhibition ‘The Equator’ Cakestudio Berlin during Fashion Week we were delighted to present our photo series in combination with her pieces.
You can check out ITZENGA in her shop in Okerstraße 4, 12045 Berlin.
